ABOUT
Author is a three-piece indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed by brothers Trevor and Cameron Bartlett and later joined by multi-instrumentalist Zach Zurn. Author found an immediate home in the Twin Cities local music community, regularly playing DIY house-shows and notable venues such as First Avenue/7th Street Entry and the late Triple Rock Social Club. Several major, long-term tours both abroad and domestically created a loyal, passionate fan base for the band. Author’s dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes, pop sensibility, and relatable storytelling paint a picture of the times and places wherein the songs were created.
